Michelle Louks, a granddaughter of Don Louks, hosted the celebration in the pool hall at Magnolia Park. The pool hall was the most perfect place for that celebration as playing pool was what Don was most known for in the Rio Grande Valley.
I am going to make this a little more personal than I usually do because Don made such a big difference in Butch's life. Butch learned so much from him. Don was always the one everyone wanted to beat and now his student is the one to beat.
Many of Don's friends were in attendance. He would have enjoyed the gathering.
