The Butch and CrewTourney

The Annual Randy Clark Tournament is over in Atlantic IA. Sherri did send me a couple of pictures. I did hear that they played well and felt good about it.

The word is in and they came in 2nd place in the First Flight. That is PHENOMENAL!! No wonder they are all smiling!

Just because it is printed on the box

doesn't make it true. Wet Wipes are never okay to flush. It would be the same as flushing a sock down the stool. It doesn't matter if you live in a castle with a brand new sewage system. If you are consistently flushing those babies, at some point someone will have to deal with it.

If whatever you use doesn't break up in the water, it can and most likely will cause a problem at some point.

They've even developed an at-home test for it: fill a jar with water and put a couple of sheets of your favorite brand of toilet paper inside, then put the lid on and shake it. If the TP starts to dissolve after a few seconds of vigorous shaking, it should be fine for RV use. If not, don't use it!Jan 7, 2020

Good Lord it's Friday

An old lady once said, "The older you get the faster time goes!" Wait. That old lady was me! It is not just time that goes fast, it is everything and everyone. This week sneaked past me. I walked the trail alone last Monday morning and I took some photos at the trailhead and said to myself I would go home and post on the blog.

Colleen made it home safely and is back at her editing work.

Butch has been golfing every day as he is in a tournament in Atlantic IA on Saturday. Gary, Jason, Butch, and Sherri Clark whose filling in for Rich this year.

So what have I been doing? Cleaning, cooking, yard work and walking while obviously not blogging. Butch has given up on the puzzle, The Girl with the Pearl Earring. I have not so that is another thing I have been doing. While visiting Bill and Bev Gunderson a while back, Bev was telling me she had been working on a 1000 piece puzzle that was quite challenging, and the puzzle I am working on falls into that category. Butch tells me to burn it. That is far too harsh.

Here are Monday's photos of the trailhead.

Our Floridian Guest

Our friend Colleen has been here the past two weeks staying in what she calls the Alley Penthouse (Motorhome). It is the ideal way to have a houseguest. They have the freedom to come and go as they please while our life goes on as before without significant interruption. This morning we took her to the airport in Des Moines to catch her flight back to Florida. I wanted to get a photo of her the entire time she was here but didn't think of it ever at the right time. I did get one at the last minute as we dropped her off and she proved how naturally photogenic she is! Or is it my ability to get a candid shot on the fly? Hmmm
