Cousin
Butch's cousin stopped by yesterday and an issue came up that I was unaware of as an issue! Butch asked her if she wanted to see the pool hall. She was very quick to say she didn't play pool and had no reason to start and most likely couldn't if she wanted to. The pool hall is a pool hall to us but it is also a meeting room, a gathering place, and a game room and we surely do not want anyone to feel they will be coerced into doing something they do not choose to do. It had not occurred to me that anyone would feel pushed into playing pool or games or anything else. Yes, Butch and I are in there most days at 4:00 and we can visit and play at the same time. So if you just want to 'chew the fat' as they used to say please feel free to drop in. No arm twisting will take place. We promise!

Issues? Anyone?
Perhaps it is just me but it seems as though we have had one "issue" after another. My definition of issue is something that needs attention in one way or another, either started or ended or somewhere in between. Researching something, like the electric bill. Unsatisfactory order from eBay, another from Walmart, and a third from Amazon! And if I get too many stacked up, it makes me cranky. I know that is hard to believe...ME cranky? The current situation is that we can see the issues whittling down so we feel a bit more at ease. The tree is topped and Butch, with help, has it all cleaned up. Motorhome maintenance is still in the works but that is more Butch's issue than mine so it is not on MY list.
There are still a few more projects on the agenda. Easy ones by comparison to some. After all, without any what would we possibly do?
Kiddoes!
Amanda posted quite a few pics of the greatgrands and I gleaned them. So I will share. These are a wee bit out of order. Oh well, heavy sigh,

Quiet Time
Been pretty quiet around here after the weekend. Butch took care of the last part of the clean-up on the tree project. I am not fond of woodsmoke smell so I am glad he got it wrapped up.
I have been working on catching up with cleaning, laundry, and blogging. Blogging is always ongoing as many of you know. Especially when too many days pass by without an update.
When we have time we have been catching up on The Handmaids Tale, and season 7 of Alone on Hulu, and whatever else catches our eye in the journey to and from those current choices. On antenna TV we watch mostly PBS, Finding your roots, Antique Roadshow, Escaping to the Chateau, the travel shows, nature shows, and sometimes the cooking shows.
My next big project will be getting ready for a garage sale. I am perhaps halfway done. Lots of brainwork in connection with a garage sale. Pricing things is always a bit of a conundrum. Setting the date is the next thing to make you go cross-eyed.
Nother subject. The birdfeeder we had in mind for the pool hall went over like a lead balloon. The birds said Huh-uh. So I asked Butch to make another platform feeder but smaller. He has seen action on it already. It is very handy being married to someone handy, especially when he accepts my ideas readily.
The other day in an RV newsletter they proposed the question "What should be your priority for going full-time RVing?" The advice was to get along very well with each other and one of you be handy. Yup, that says it well.

Busy Weekend
The Gary Brooker family branch came to visit so there was an abundance of activity here. Among other things I watched an 8-year-old boy learn to play cribbage in about an hour. Of course, he did not know all the nuances of the game, but he picked up enough of it to play. His grandpa dealt him his 6 cards and asked him how many fifteens he could find and in seconds he replied 3! But then Grandpa said but now you have to give me two cards because it is my crib...and the learning commenced. It was fun to watch!

After this, they played a dice game.
Git 'er done!
Tree with a haircut.
Before- Butch moved the MoHo out of harm's way. The whole purpose of the procedure is to protect the Moho from further encounters with the Russian Elm tree.
The sun was in the wrong spot.
Butch and others have been working on this project ever since.
