I put the last finishing stitch in last night. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have the next one ready to start today and since we are having a springlike rainy day in south Texas and I cleaned house yesterday nothing should get in my way.Smile!

These Green Jays blend in with their surroundings so very well.
This from Tailspin in Atlantic Iowa... Our paper boy seems to come when ever he feels like it. I never know until I look in the box if he has come or not... But I could tell he had been here this morning...How could I tell??
Barb says: Hmmm...think I will stay here.

Life is short. Enjoy it!
Dust if you must,
but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake a cake or plant a seed, ponder the difference between want and need?
Dust if you must,
but there's not much time, with rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must,
but the world's out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, a shower of rain. This day will not come around again.
Dust if you must,
but bear in mind, old age will come and it's not kind. And when you go - and go you must - you, yourself will make more dust!
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.
Thanks Zoe for this one... I abide by it.

The parrots finally landed in the park and in the tree right next to us. They are plentiful and colorful but the little twerps always visit when it is too dark or cloudy or both making a really good photo a tough thing to do.
