Housebound- almost

I am a hothouse flower and I like it that way. I do not mind breaking a sweat when I am out for a walk. This morning's local temp at 6:00 am is 31 degrees F. In a word, UGLY. They say we are in for a couple days of this and I hope that is all.
I do have to get out and about in an hour. I will dress for it and then hurry back home to our cozy abode. We have the heat on in the motorhome and we have some items moved. We will be doing more today despite the temperatures. I still cannot lift much (8 lb. limit) and I keep forgetting. We will both feel better when the motorhome is fully loaded and we are comfortable that we have not forgotten anything. One huge benefit of RVing fulltime is that this bi-annual moving business is not necessary and it goes a long way in simplifying your life. I do miss that part of it.
And now for more pictures of the GreatGrands. Their Mama takes these same pics each year in the same place. Really cool thing to do.

Our little ladies man.

My Report Card

Today was my 2 week appointment with the surgeon. They are so happy with my progress. I am too!
Elise is in a play at the Harrisonville Mo High School. She has been in several productions. I think her first one was when she was in Kindergarten. She told me at the wedding reception this past weekend that she had 4 parts and 2 solos. This GreatGram does not want to miss it! The play "Elf" will be performed the 17th, 18th and 19th and my last checkup was scheduled for the 20th. So today I told my doctor the importance to me of Elise's performance and they have moved my appointment to November 9th!!! I am happy! I have an appointment on the 15th with my plastic surgeon but the next day we will be going south! Stopping in Peculiar for the 16th and 17th and then proceeding to the Rio Grande Valley after watching Elise in the play. Love it when things work out. So we will be in the park by Thanksgiving Day. The prior plan would have us on the road on Thanksgiving Day so this is better. So we will arrive in the park on the 20th or 21st depending on how smoothly all things work.
Many things hinged on this appointment. Tomorrow we start moving into the motorhome. So this is notifying local friends and family if you do not find us in the house come looking in the motorhome. We are always willing to stop and visit.

Slightly off-center

We went to a wedding reception this past Saturday and it was lovely. Great to see family on a special occasion and all. Laura's daughter, Nicole is now married to Terry Richardson. They have been together for quite some time and now they have made it official. It was a good time for all and the pictures can attest to it.

BUT- I may have made my debut a bit too early. There is no way to tell if you have overdone it until you overdo it. I rested all day yesterday and feel much better this morning.
I took several pictures and until I uploaded them to my computer I didn't fully realize how off my pictures were too. I guess when you are a bit wonky it affects all things.
Oh well...here are the pictures such as they are. In my defense, it is difficult to get youngsters to stay still.
