Escapees.com
It is a gray day. For the most part the weather has been beautiful the past month. Thursday we are heading south to Carthage MO. We will probably stay there but a day or two. There is a large RV dealer there and we wish to look over some of his wares. And then we are headed for Livingston Texas and check out the possibilities of making Texas our legal residence through the Escapees Club. Posted by Hello
The Peculiar Apple Market has been where we buy our groceries. The other day we bought Fuji apples. Jonathon checked us out. Hehehe Posted by Hello

Excellent Pan fried Chicken!!!Welcome to Stroud's Restaurants
We went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on Sunday. Admission was free (donation) and photos are allowed but no flash. In setting my camera for no flash I inadvertently took off auto focus so I didn't get many photos. You need to mosey on down to KC and see it yourself! This was a flat canvas despite the appearance of being 3 dimensional. Posted by Hello

Ancient Chinese 2 burner stove. The opening for fuel was on the right side and very small. I think it would fit in the RV! Posted by Hello

Saturday, October 9th, Susan, her friend Amy and Amy's daughter Tessa and I went to Mound City KS to the Sugar Mound Festival.
It had to be the largest Craft Fair I have ever seen and all this in a town of 800 people. Posted by Hello

"There is no such thing as a "self-made" man. We are made
up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a
kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to
us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of
our thoughts, as well as our success."

-- George Adams, philosopher
