* * Autumn Leaf Craft Idea * *
My sons made gifts out of canvas bags and leaves. You
take beautiful fall leaves, arrange them on the canvas bag,
then completely cover the leaves with masking tape. Take
out your frustrations and pound every inch of the leaves with
a hammer! The pretty stuff that makes the leaves different
colors (chlorophyll?) transfers to the canvas and makes a
fabulous gift. My boys then signed and dated the bags with
a fabric marker. One teacher continues to use the bag, after
several washings and many years later.
