While in Williams AZ we visited an Indian Jewelry Store downtown. They had some beautiful pieces that were very well made. Each area had a photo of the artist alongside their work.
We have arrived in Casa Grande AZ and this will be our home for the next two weeks. Yes it is hot but October in the south usually is hot. We had a pleasant trip to get here through Phoenix which wasn't as bad as other cities we have dealt with in the past. One of the things we were told is that southern Arizona has a mosquito problem and several cases of West Nile. To be honest that just seems wrong to me and on so many levels. Why are we irrigating desert? oh well, I doubt if there is much I can do to change it so I will dig out my mosquito spray. This is a very nice park we are in and we have a good location within the park. It is an SKP Park...so was Pahrump. No WiFi here but a good solid Verizon connection. Angel is becoming more comfortable with every move we make. She now comes out from under my chair when we stop in a rest area and stretches, eats and uses her litter box. As soon as Butch starts the engine she gets in her spot under my chair and off we go again.

We have visited the Grand Canyon...the canyon all others are compared to and I can see why. WoW!!
This little ol' foreign speaking woman dug deeply into her bag to find bread for the squirrel even though we were told repeatedly not to feed the animals. We will assume she didn't understand. I think the squirrel fully intended to go get it if she didn't offer.Smile!

This guy climbed over the fence to get on the rock. In a word...idiot!

Smile!Well...tonight we are sitting high and dry in Williams AZ-Gateway to the Grand Canyon at 6700 feet elevation. Highs are in the 70's and lows in the 40's. We are now up off the desert floor! We are paid up for the next 3 days and after that is undecided at this point. Till next time....

These are necks of bottles strung onto barbed wire...why?...I do not know.
It took approximately 30,000 bottle to build the bottle house...mostly beer bottles.
