We are at Canyon Lake Texas and have been since Wednesday, 10/17. We always have a good time with Lisa and Terry; this is no exception. Texas, especially the middle belt has been undergoing a brutal drought. Yesterday we toured the area and I took some photos of the drought-stricken lake.
This is a boat ramp. Most of these photos would be underwater normally.
These are not "beaches"!
At the bottom of these photos is the boat ramp, accentuating where the water used to be.
As you can see, the recovery will be years in the making.
