Crafty

I answered some marriage-type questions the other day and they asked who was more creative. My answer was I found the ideas but Butch helped me implement them. Here is our latest collaboration.

Year 4

I think I am on year 4 of using my RV oven for storage. I am loving my new NuWave Bravo XL. It is an improvement on the bulky one I used to use. And the induction plate rounds out my "stove" choices.
This article was in the RVNewsletter and I could relate.
Made a Keto pumpkin pie in the new Bravo XL to see if it was worthy enough to share on Thanksgiving and it is.
Quick Tip
A deduction about induction
In response to a tip on how to keep the inside of your RV cool when needing to cook in a pan or skillet, Rob Stewart puts in his two cents’ worth: “We have been using a portable induction cooktop. It is nearly 100% efficient at heating the pan and not the surrounding air. We also use it in the cooler temperatures because, unlike propane, it releases no extra water vapor into the coach.”

Keep head cold treatments on hand

I have recovered from a head cold. I started with my old tricks. Used the neti pot, swabbed my nostrils with Zicam and the only meds I took were Benadryl. I repeated all these actions until I knew the worst had passed. It took 2 and 1/2 days. One piece of info I will pass on from last April when I had the sinus surgery. They requested that I not use the neti pot after surgery.
NO

but instead, use the bottle type, holding your head upright while flushing.
YES

.
In my opinion, it works equally as well.

I also prefer the Zicam swabs to other forms of Zicam.
So now I have shared all my head cold tricks. 2- 3days is always my preference to the 7 days of just living through it without treatment.

Magnolia Park- Channel 5 0n Your Side

Many of you know of the turmoil in the RV park we always went to for 18 years. Very few of the people are still there but those who are, are being harassed by management. Channel 5 in the Rio Grande Valley covers instances where people are frustrated for one reason or another. I thought many of our friends might like to see this video.

Pool Hall is Evil

Butch went to the pool hall and brought home my annual gift, a head cold. This happens every year. You would think we would learn. And it is a double whammy because we were invited to supper today and not wanting to spread the gift around I had to decline. We were also scheduled to play in a couples event at the pool hall today and had to scratch our name off the list.

So that is why I posted this on facebook today.
