There was a rededication of the Raccoon River Valley Trail after a resurfacing project from Redfield to Linden. It was a very nice ride, free, good company and we each got a tee shirt. 

Catching Up! Today there was a Poker Run on the trail starting at Redfield IA to Linden IA and returning. For those participating there were points along the trail where you chose a card to make a poker hand. I was one card away from a straight.

This is the infamous Taz. Puppy of my sister Myrla. Taz is quite photogenic and Myrla is enjoying her new digital camera.

This is Butch and Jason on their adventure. Once they were back on the ground Butch was quite clammy and pale. Fair food didn't sound good for awhile. Jason didn't feel so hot either. 

Jason and Butch had this "wise idea" to go on this ride designed to scare the bejeebers out of young people. It is designed somewhat like a ferris wheel but with only two sets of seats. It goes much faster than a ferris wheel, a hundred or so feet in the air and both directions. Neither of them felt that it was such a good idea after their "flight".
