Five of us women of Thunder Bay resort traveled south for over two hours to bead shops, one in Frankenmuth and the other in Saginaw. In between the two bead shops we greatly enjoyed lunch at a very busy German restaurant ( the name escapes me). I had what they called a Hazelwood Sandwich made up of sliced turkey,bacon,melted cheese,coleslaw on top contained in a toasted croissant. It was scrumptious! And then we returned home. As you can probably guess we spent all of our time in the two bead shops.
The leaf color on the return trip was of the knock your socks off variety but we were over half way back before that was true. It is still very green in Saginaw.
