Sonny Elephant

There was a question on Facebook that jogged a memory for me. The question was 'What was the first book you encountered that made you want to read?' And my answer was "Sonny Elephant". Miss Dowd read it to us in 3rd grade. She read a bit of it after we had our work done for the day and we very much looked forward to it. I would love to read it again. And so I looked it up on Amazon and I can buy one for $61+. I don't think so! If anyone knows where I can get one to read for free....wonder if the library would have it?
I know there are classmates of mine who would surely share this memory.
