Butch and I met up with some other "expats" and went to the Feast of Sharing in Weslaco that HEB puts on each Christmas season. It is truly an amazing event. HEB feeds thousands of people in a very short time frame. Volunteers do the legwork and it is good practice for HEB as they feed people at disasters. The menu is the same each year; ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, dinner roll, apple pie, and a drink. It is mighty tasty and you can have seconds if you want them. Here are some Boy Scouts volunteering. We love our HEB! And HEB loves us!
