Quiet Time

Been pretty quiet around here after the weekend. Butch took care of the last part of the clean-up on the tree project. I am not fond of woodsmoke smell so I am glad he got it wrapped up.

I have been working on catching up with cleaning, laundry, and blogging. Blogging is always ongoing as many of you know. Especially when too many days pass by without an update.

When we have time we have been catching up on The Handmaids Tale, and season 7 of Alone on Hulu, and whatever else catches our eye in the journey to and from those current choices. On antenna TV we watch mostly PBS, Finding your roots, Antique Roadshow, Escaping to the Chateau, the travel shows, nature shows, and sometimes the cooking shows.

My next big project will be getting ready for a garage sale. I am perhaps halfway done. Lots of brainwork in connection with a garage sale. Pricing things is always a bit of a conundrum. Setting the date is the next thing to make you go cross-eyed.

Nother subject. The birdfeeder we had in mind for the pool hall went over like a lead balloon. The birds said Huh-uh. So I asked Butch to make another platform feeder but smaller. He has seen action on it already. It is very handy being married to someone handy, especially when he accepts my ideas readily.

The other day in an RV newsletter they proposed the question "What should be your priority for going full-time RVing?" The advice was to get along very well with each other and one of you be handy. Yup, that says it well.
