First Mexico Excursion and other stuff
Yesterday after the first business meeting, of which I was just one of the crowd, we went to Nuevo Progreso to stock up on meds and have lunch. All seemed quiet on both sides of the border. In Matamoros on Sunday however there was a cartel shootout on the streets killing 13 people including 1 woman. Do not go to Matamoros or Reynosa. From the news reports it sounds like both cities are having cartel battles.
