This afternoon is the big annual Christmas Parade and surprisingly our citizens of the park seem to get into and really enjoy it. We used to let a volunteer in a golf cart lead the parade but one year they went so fast that the parade was over in 10 minutes and no one even saw it. Since then I have led the parade on foot. After all I walk the same route twice a day anyway but this time I have a parade behind me.
Another seasonal happening is computer issues. There always seems to be a few as people come down and get settled in finding out their computer is not quite acting the same as it did "up north". Once all the people get here that slows down. I had 3 calls the day before yesterday and one yesterday. Most were easy fixes.
People are meandering in but the park is not full by any means. There are also rentals available and that is a rarity. So if the weather in your neck of the woods isn't quite mild enough for you send me an email and we might be able to get you fixed up with a place to stay.
Butch is busy with golf, shuffleboard, cribbage and pool. Oh, and Bridge. He is too busy with pool these days as he offered to help out by filling in for a fellow who had surgery and was going to be delayed in getting here. But now it looks like he may not get here at all so Butch has more pool duties than he cares to have. He has more than one reason to hope Karl has a speedy recovery and can indeed get here. He has a conflict on Thursday afternoon with cribbage. He may have to give it up at least through the league season which has started. Oh, the woes of the overbooked!
