Haven't heard much out of me, I know. I have been wrapped up with insurance quotes and loan applications and other miscellaneous... hmmm...shall we say crap. I keep reminding myself to take it all one step at a time and it will soon all come together. When you fuzzy up your brain with that stuff it becomes difficult to think of anything else.
The weather is warm and wonderful here in Carthage MO. They keep saying a cold front is on the way but it hasn't shown its little frozen head as yet. We talked to some folks from Colorado yesterday and they are headed to Pennsylvania. They didn't bring their summer clothes with them and they were mighty warm. It has been in the 80's here...and humid.
We watched an exchange yesterday whereby a fellow bought a new motorhome and moved from his old unit to the new one. They set them up side by side and place a bridge between the two doors to eliminate the stepping up and down stairs continually. It makes the exchange much easier. This particular fellow was a single. He lost his wife 4 years ago and he had a 5th wheel and truck. He bought a motorhome because setup is less work and he is disabled (Agent Orange). We were watching him get ready to leave and he nearly left with his electricity plugged in! He caught it in time but not till it was stretched to the max. What a way to start! We watch people leave here all the time with their TV antennas up. They lose those about the first overpass they come to. There are many interesting things to see right here in the RV park. ;-)
