I haven't been up to much lately thus the abscence of blog news. Yesterday Butch and I did ride a portion of the Katy Trail. It was our longest ride of the summer and nearly killed me. 30.16 miles We rode from Clinton MO and went almost to Windsor MO. A large portion of the trail is canopied but enough of it is not that created an overheating problem for me on the return trip. The Katy Trail is limestone surface and for the most part is in good condition. I wouldn't mind biking it again. It is 50 miles from Peculiar so it is not something done on a whim.
