Old Pictures

I was looking through really old pictures the other day and ran across this owl picture, taken in Cumberland Iowa in about 1995 or so. I wondered at the time why it stayed still and let me get this really good photo but in trying to identify it I discovered it is a Great Horned Owl of the juvenile variety. So the answer is it didn't know any better!
