Butch and I went exploring today...on foot. This parks' literature tells us there is a nature trail on the back side of it. It is a little more nature than suits us...pretty well overgrown and unattainable in many places but I might explore it more another time. We did walk on the outer road which is an easy 2.2 walk out as far as it will go and back. It looks like walking may have to replace biking as the exercise of choice for now. We have discovered a nice homey restaurant in Peculiar. Pat's Restaurant. It is easy to find and the food was homecooked and hot. It looks a little rough around the edges but the food was very tasty. I ordered green beans and they were doctored up with onion and bacon and you certainly do not find that every day.
